{"id":676236,"date":"2026-11-06T00:40:07","date_gmt":"2026-11-06T00:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/676236\/"},"modified":"2026-11-06T00:40:07","modified_gmt":"2026-11-06T00:40:07","slug":"acetaminophen-bottles-recalled-at-dollar-tree-stores-in-sc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/676236\/","title":{"rendered":"Acetaminophen bottles recalled at Dollar Tree stores in SC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A pain reliever sold at Dollar Tree in South Carolina and nationwide has been recalled due to a labeling mistake.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/index.cfm?Product=223387\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Food and Drug Administration<\/a> said the outer label of ValuHealth Extra Strength Pain Relief Acetaminophen correctly identifies the product as 500 mg, 40-caplets per bottle, but the inner label says \u201cValuHealth Extra Strength Pain Relief PM 100, 134 40-count bottles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FDA said it is not likely to cause health problems.<\/p>\n<p>It was distributed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prodosepharma.com\/\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prodose<\/a>, Inc. of Ronkonkoma, New York and made in India.<\/p>\n<p>Prodose initiated the recall on Oct. 14 and the FDA updated its recall classification to Class III on Oct. 26.<\/p>\n<p>You can tell if you bought this product by checking labels for this information: UPC: 8 50026 88900 0 Lot number: P260252 Expiration date: April 30, 2029<\/p>\n<p>This was the second acetaminophen recall in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestate.com\/living\/food-drink\/article317620733.html\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon<\/a> voluntarily recalled more than 112,000 bottles of Amazon-branded extra-strength acetaminophen due to consumer reports of discolored tablets.
