Bridget Fonda stepped out for a rare public outing in Los Angeles, 24 years after she last appeared on-screen.<\/p>\n

The 62-year-old actress was photographed while out to lunch on Monday, Nov. 2, keeping it casual in black sweatpants and a white tank top, paired with a yellow collared button-up shirt.<\/p>\n

She accessorized the look with a black crossbody bag and sunglasses, and styled her hair in a ponytail.<\/p>\n

As the granddaughter of Academy Award-winning actor, Henry Fonda, known for his roles in “The Grapes of Wrath,” “12 Angry Men” and “On Golden Pond,” Bridget made her film debut when she was five years old, appearing alongside her father, Peter Fonda, in the 1969 movie, “Easy Rider.”<\/p>\n

She had her breakthrough in 1989, when she starred in the film, “Scandal,” and continued to prove herself in films such as “Single White Female,” “Point of No Return,” “It Could Happen to You” and “Jackie Brown.”<\/p>\n

Although she found big success as an actress, she slowed down in the late 1990s and into the 2000s. Her final movie role was in the 2001 TV movie, “After Amy,” and her final time on-screen was in two episodes of the miniseries “Snow Queen,” in 2002.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail,<\/a> she told paparazzi in April 2023 that she had no plans to return to acting, noting, “It\u2019s too nice being a civilian.”<\/p>\n

In addition to her grandfather and her father, Bridget also grew up with Academy Award-winning actress, Jane Fonda<\/a>, who is her aunt. She explained that coming from an acting family, it was hard not to be compared to one another.<\/p>\n

After stepping away from Hollywood, Bridget married film composer and frontman for the band, Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman, in 2003, and the two welcomed their son, Oliver, in 2005.<\/p>\n
