\n\tThe Duchess of Sussex now calls the Cotswolds home, far away from the entertainment industry landscape where she and Harry planted roots after their royal exit. But the recent revelation that Meghan will be making a guest appearance on Junior MasterChef Australia<\/a> has experts wondering if she\u2019s put most of her celebrity goals behind her.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith Love, Meghan wrapped after two seasons<\/a>, and any beacon of hope for a revival was likely wiped out after they lost in their Daytime Emmy category to A Different Breed, a nine-part docuseries about competitive dog sports that airs on Prime Video.<\/p>\n

\n\tSchiffer believes her projects have \u201cfailed miserably\u201d at Netflix, so the reality competition appearance is a way to revive her career. Despite the criticism, Meghan and Prince Harry are still working on Meet Me at the Lake and The Wedding Date, two projects which are considered \u201cin development\u201d by the streamer. <\/p>\n

\n\tMeet Me at the Lake<\/a> author Carley Fortune shared an update<\/a> on the project in June, noting that they have \u201ca director attached, and the script is still being revised.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe raved about working with the Duchess of Sussex, revealing that she \u201creally understood the story and what mattered about the story.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd we spoke a lot about it, because the story Meet Me at the Lake is a romance, but it\u2019s very much about a mother and daughter, too,\u201d Fortune said on Jenna Bush Hager\u2019s Open Book podcast<\/a>. \u201cWe talked a lot about parenthood and also about how these love stories are about so much more. It\u2019s a story about grief; it\u2019s a story about mental health.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile experts are busy speculating about Meghan\u2019s Hollywood downfall, she still has projects in the pipeline with people who are thrilled to work with her.
