\n\tGeorge Clooney<\/a> just shared an update on Ocean\u2019s 14, revealing that the sequel film is expected to start shooting sometime in 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview, the actor shared that Warner Bros. had just approved the budget for the followup to the heist film trilogy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe just got the budget approved at Warner Bros. and we\u2019re trying to set up,\u201d Clooney told E! News<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s just scheduling, so it\u2019s just setting a start date for us \u2026 probably start in about nine or 10 months, shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Ocean\u2019s franchise began in 2001 with Ocean\u2019s Eleven, a remake of the 1960 heist film starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. The remake, directed by Steven Soderbergh, featured Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and Don Cheadle.<\/p>\n

\n\tOcean\u2019s Eleven earned over $450\u00a0million at the box office and was followed by\u00a0Ocean\u2019s Twelve\u00a0in 2004, which grossed $362 million, and\u00a0Ocean\u2019s Thirteen\u00a0in 2007, which grossed $ 311 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tAbout reuniting with his Ocean\u2019s Eleven co-stars, Clooney said, \u201cYeah, Brad, Matt and Don and Julia. I had dinner last night with Julia. They\u2019re all still really dear friends. And so, the chance to work together would be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2018, a spin-off titled\u00a0Ocean\u2019s 8\u00a0was released, which featured an all-female cast that included Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina. Bullock played Debbie Ocean, the sister of Clooney\u2019s Danny Ocean. The film made $297M at the box office.<\/p>\n
