Elisabeth Hasselbeck wants Rosie O\u2019Donnell to stop \u201cbullying\u201d her.<\/p>\n

In a since-deleted Instagram Stories post shared by Entertainment Tonight<\/a>, a tearful Hasselbeck, 48, issued an emotional plea to her former \u201cThe View\u201d co-host, 63, to \u201cstop the lying\u201d after O\u2019Donnell addressed their on-air fight in 2007 in a recent interview on Australian radio show\u00a0\u201cRicki-Lee, Tim & Joel<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the radio interview, O\u2019Donnell said she \u201cbent over backwards\u201d to get along with Hasselbeck, who openly questioned the \u201cLeague of Their Own\u201d star\u2019s patriotism during the argument. \u201cAnd here she was coming at me on national TV about whether or not I was patriotic,\u201d O\u2019Donnell said.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell also said she believed the infamous shouting match \u2014 during which she leveled an accusation that Hasselbeck failed to defend her against conservative media criticism of her anti-war views \u2014 was a \u201csetup\u201d<\/a> and was \u201cprepared\u201d ahead of time by producers.<\/p>\n

Hasselbeck begged O\u2019Donnell to \u201cstop the lying\u201d in the clip, according to Entertainment Weekly and Entertainment Tonight. ABC via Getty Images<\/p>\n

Following the split-screen spat, ABC announced that O\u2019Donnell asked to be let go from her contract, only eight months into her gig on the show. However, she returned to \u201cThe View\u201d for a brief stint in 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy heart is like, \u2018Just please stop,’\u201d Hasselbeck said in the emotional clip. \u201cWe\u2019re all just trying our best.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd even maybe if you don\u2019t stop, I still forgive you,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd it can just be so much more free, Rosie, if you can just stop. Stop the madness, stop the lying and just be free.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the clip, Hasselbeck added, \u201cI really hope that you can be released from whatever this is that\u2019s causing you to cause such harm.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love my friends who disagree with me<\/a>,\u201d Hasselbeck said, referencing her ongoing friendship with \u201cThe View\u201d host Whoopi Goldberg, whom she called \u201ca friend who doesn\u2019t want me to think how she thinks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to call you many times and reach out to you after that, Rosie, and you don\u2019t want repair,\u201d she claimed, according to Entertainment Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to go here because you won\u2019t respond,\u201d she continued. \u201cIf you want to get together and talk, let\u2019s do it, come over and swim in my pool, come take a couple laps, come back to America and enjoy your nation. We can have an open free dialogues about what we disagree on. I\u2019ll make you dinner, what do you want to stop the bullying?\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps for O\u2019Donnell did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

In O\u2019Donnell\u2019s radio interview, the liberal TV host said she had committed not to be an \u201cenemy\u201d with the famously conservative Hasselbeck.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe came to my house, she swam in my pool, she brought her little kid, I took her kid to see\u00a0\u2018Sesame Street Live,\u2019 I took her to her first Broadway opening,\u201d\u00a0O\u2019Donnell claimed, adding that during the on-air argument she felt like she \u201cwas on a basketball team of five women and one of them kept tripping me on my way to the hoop.\u201d<\/p>\n
