The countdown is on until Texas Book Festival<\/a> \u2014 Austin\u2019s annual free celebration of reading \u2014 and its 30th anniversary this year.<\/p>\n

Mark your calendar for Saturday, Nov. 8 + Sunday, Nov. 9, because the full star-studded roundup of authors is here. Here are a few of the authors we\u2019re most excited to see.<\/p>\n

Kate Winkler Dawson<\/a> | The Austin-based documentary producer, journalist, podcaster, and author will talk about \u201cThe Sinners All Bow: Two Authors, One Murder, and the Real Hester Prynne.\u201d Psst \u2014 read our interview with her<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chelsea Handler<\/a> | This comedian, TV host, and writer will be at the festival chatting about her autobiography, \u201cI\u2019ll Have What She\u2019s Having.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali Hazelwood<\/a> | The author, known for her contemporary romance novels like \u201cThe Love Hypothesis,\u201d will be at the festival just after the release of her new novel, \u201cMate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ling Ling Huang<\/a> | Known for her debut novel, \u201cNatural Beauty,\u201d the author and violinist is back with her second book, \u201cImmaculate Conception.\u201d<\/p>\n

Skip Hollandsworth<\/a> | A staple at Texas Monthly since 1989, Hollandsworth\u2019s new true crime book, \u201cShe Kills: The Murderous Socialite, the Cross-Dressing Bank Robber, and Other True Crime Tales,\u201d comes out in the fall.<\/p>\n

Rick Mart\u00ednez<\/a> | Allow this James Beard Award-winning chef to help you level up your Mexican cooking with his cookbook, \u201cSalsa Daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matthew McConaughey<\/a> | The \u201cGreenlights\u201d author will be at the festival to talk about his new book, \u201cPoems & Prayers,\u201d in a ticketed session. Admission is $38 and includes a signed copy of the book, but don\u2019t wait to get tickets, because they\u2019re selling fast.<\/p>\n

Viet Thanh Nguyen<\/a> | You\u2019ll have to get tickets to hear from this \u201cTo Save and To Destroy: Writing As An Other\u201d author, who will sign copies afterward.<\/p>\n

R.L. Stine<\/a> | Get excited if you grew up reading \u201cGoosebumps,\u201d because the best-selling author\u2019s new novel, \u201cThe Last Sleepover,\u201d comes out on Tuesday, Aug. 5.<\/p>\n

Ariel Sullivan<\/a> | The author will meet up with Jenna Bush Hager for a ticketed conversation about her debut novel, \u201cConform.\u201d<\/p>\n
