\n\tAmy Poehler<\/a> served as a brief guest anchor on Saturday Night Live<\/a>\u2018s \u201cWeekend Update,\u201d and she was joined by two familiar faces \u2014 and that\u2019s not including Colin Jost<\/a> and Michael Che<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tAfter making a surprise cameo during the cold open, Tina Fey<\/a> made a second appearance during the infamous SNL<\/a> bit. But that\u2019s not all: they were also joined by fellow alumni Seth Meyers<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe segment kicked off with Poehler criticizing one of Jost\u2019s jokes, to which they decided to settle their beef with \u201ca good old fashioned \u2018Weekend Update\u2019 joke off.\u201d The crowd then erupted in applause as Fey and Meyers entered the shot. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOh, did somebody say \u2018Weekend Update\u2019 joke off?\u201d Fey asked. The Good Hang podcast host quickly introduced the two, noting, \u201cMy first wife and second wife, everybody!\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tJost then went on to set up the joke, saying, \u201cA woman in Tennessee broke a hospital record after giving birth to a 13 pound baby, and go!\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tPoehler replied with her own shot at creating the best joke, noting, \u201cA woman gave birth to a 13 pound baby which was so big he slapped the doctor on his ass.\u201d Fey then took her shot, saying, \u201cA woman gave birth to a 13 pound baby, and the new baby\u2019s name is Ahhhhh!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMeyers continued the joke off: \u201cA woman gave birth to a 13 pound baby, damn, did she give birth to it, or did it drive out?\u201d They traded several jokes with Jost and Che, until Poehler affirmed, \u201cWe won!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPoehler, Fey and Meyers\u2019 spent years working on SNL amongst one another. As a trio, they served five years together as cast members on the show. The Mean Girls star exited the series in 2006, leaving Poehler and the Late Night host with two additional years together before Poehler left in 2008.<\/p>\n

\n\tPoehler returned to SNL for her third time as host on Saturday night, where she was joined by musical guest Role Model. He even brought out his own special cameo in Grammy Award-winner\u00a0Charli XCX<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in the night, Poehler and Fey portrayed Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem, respectively, in the cold open.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe\u00a0Parks and Recreation\u00a0star utilized her opening monologue<\/a> to commemorate the official 50th anniversary of SNL, noting that the first episode of the show debuted exactly 50 years on Oct. 11, 1975. However, she also took time to criticize AI actress Tilly Norwood<\/a> who made headlines after her studio revealed they were searching for her own representation. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI remember watching the show in the \u201970s, sitting in my house in Burlington, Massachusetts thinking, \u2018I wanna be an actress someday, at least until they invent an\u00a0AI\u00a0actress who\u2019s funnier and willing to do full frontal,\u2019\u201d Poehler said.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe later added, \u201cI know it can feel like times are very tough right now, and in some ways they always have been and they always will be, so I\u2019ll just say this \u2014 if there\u2019s a place that feels like home that you can go back to and laugh with your friends, consider yourself lucky, and I do.
