Celebrating agri-food, drink and tourism hospitality businesses across Ireland, the\u00a0Good Food Ireland Awards\u00a0for\u00a02025 received a record number of nominations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eight Clare businesses<\/a> have been announced as finalists in the upcoming Good Food Ireland Awards, held in association with FBD Insurance.<\/p>\n

The 2025 awards ceremony will take place on Monday, 10th November, at the host venue, The K Club in Kildare.<\/p>\n

Burren Smokehouse \u2013 Food Tourism Experience of the Year and Fish & Seafood Producer of the Year<\/p>\n

Market House Ennistymon \u2013 Meat Producer of the Year<\/p>\n

Wilde Irish Chocolates \u2013 Bakery & Chocolate Producer and Food Lovers Choice Award \u2013 Ireland\u2019s Hidden Heartlands<\/p>\n

Western Herd Brewing \u2013 Drinks Producer of the Year<\/p>\n

Gregans Castle \u2013 Food Lovers Choice Award \u2013 Wild Atlantic Way<\/p>\n

Linnalla Pure Irish Ice Cream \u2013 Dairy Producer of the Year<\/p>\n

Sweet n Green Caf\u00e9 \u2013 Caf\u00e9 of the Year<\/p>\n

Cliff View Caf\u00e9 @ Cliffs of Moher \u2013 Caf\u00e9 of the Year<\/p>\n

The Good Food Ireland Awards are judged by an independent panel of Irish and international experts through onsite mystery inspections and detailed assessments.<\/p>\n

These experts shortlist nominees and select winners based on strict criteria, which includes local sourcing, Irish provenance, and sustainability.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Margaret Jeffares, Founder of Good Food Ireland, on the upcoming awards said: \u201cGood Food Ireland\u00ae was born from a desire to celebrate Ireland\u2019s world-class food,\u00a0drink\u00a0and farming champions. Many years later, our awards are now\u00a0recognised\u00a0as the pinnacle of excellence in food,\u00a0drink\u00a0and tourism experience,\u00a0recognising\u00a0those businesses who play a vital role in the entire Irish food ecosystem, one that fosters local pride and drives international tourism.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Clare\u2019s eight finalists she said: \u201cFrom food and drink producers and regenerative farmers to chefs and tourism destinations, we were delighted to have received an incredibly high\u00a0calibre\u00a0of entries from County Clare. This year\u2019s awards\u2019 theme is \u2018Rooted in Taste. Backed by Trust\u2019 and each of our finalists truly embodies this sentiment. I would like to congratulate them on already being amongst the best culinary experiences in\u00a0Ireland and\u00a0wish each of our finalists well for the awards event.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to the main categories, the awards feature the Food Lovers’ Choice Award, which is open to all agri-food, drink and tourism hospitality businesses, and voted for by the public.\u00a0 Five Food Lovers\u2019 Choice award winners will be presented on the night, featuring winners from the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland\u2019s Ancient East, Ireland\u2019s Hidden Heartland, Dublin and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n
