Hell hath no fury like\u2026 an ex scorned? Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have just announced their split, with Kidman filing for divorce just days ago. But there are already reports about what her ex, before Urban, Tom Cruise<\/a>, feels about it. It is, perhaps, nothing to be surprised about, considering how much media coverage and interest there was about Kidman and Cruise\u2019s divorce, back in the day.<\/p>\n

Kidman and Cruise, who share two kids, Bella, 32, and Connon, 30, have reportedly not spoken in over two decades. And it seems Cruise is telling friends that Kidman\u2019s divorce from Urban, who she was married to for 19 years, feels a little bit like \u201ckarma.\u201d<\/p>\n

HeatWorld UK reported from an insider that \u201cTom took so much grief from Nicole and her Hollywood cronies when they first divorced, he\u2019ll never forget or forgive how villainised he was and in some ways that far reaching perception haunts him to this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source added, \u201cHe\u2019s following the divorce news closely and a part of him feels badly for her, since he knows how much she\u2019s hurting. But at the same time he\u2019s also allowing himself a little pat on the back and telling people close to him that this is karma doing its thing to a large degree.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reportedly, \u201cTom didn\u2019t have a high opinion about Keith, so it annoyed him when this guy was painted as this saintly figure who\u2019d swooped in on a white horse, so to speak, and rescued Nicole from the hellish memory of their marriage.\u201d However, the source also indicates Cruise has reached out to Kidman to offer her support amid the divorce.<\/p>\n

Kidman spoke about her split with Cruise in 2012, telling\u00a0DuJour magazine<\/a>, \u201cI thought our life together was perfect. It took me a very long time to heal. It was a shock to my system. We were in a bubble, just the two of us. We became very dependent on one another. I was reeling with Tom. I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him\u2026. I was totally smitten \u2013 I fell madly, passionately in love.\u201d<\/p>\n

After her divorce from Cruise, Kidman and Keith Urban<\/a> got married in 2006. The couple has two children together, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. The actress filed for divorce on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Nashville, where the couple has lived together since 2007. She listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.<\/p>\n

Rumors indicate it was not Kidman\u2019s choice to separate. \u201cThe rumor is that he\u2019s with a\u00a0younger woman<\/a>\u00a0in the business,\u201d a \u201cNashville music industry source told\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that\u2019s a mystery.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is reportedly why Kidman went ahead and filed for divorce. Rob Shuter\u2019s\u00a0ShuterScoop<\/a> reported that Kidman wanted to work on the marriage, but Urban didn\u2019t. \u201cNicole wanted to fight for them, but\u00a0Keith<\/a>\u00a0had already checked out\u2014and she knew why. It wasn\u2019t about distance, schedules, or bad habits. It was about\u00a0another woman<\/a>. And Nicole knows who she is.\u201d Another insider added, \u201cShe\u2019s not na\u00efve. She heard the stories; she saw the signs. At some point, the truth becomes impossible to ignore. She\u2019s not going to live as anyone\u2019s second choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

And considering how both of her divorces went, it\u2019s likely Kidman doesn\u2019t much care about what any of her exes think about her. She\u2019s going to continue doing her thing and excelling at it.<\/p>\n
