A proud partnership with FBD insurance, the annual awards celebrate the best food, drink, and hospitality shown by businesses across the country. The organisers believe that this event is more than a celebration \u2013 that they are a catalyst for rural growth, sustainable food tourism and all-island collaboration.<\/p>\n
The awards take place at the K Club in Co. Kildare on Monday, November 10, in which seven Wexford businesses will be taking part; Kelly\u2019s Resort Hotel & Spa for 4 Star Hotel of the Year, Ballykelly Farm for Fruit & Vegetable Producer of the Year, Kearns Fruit Farm for Fruit & Vegetable Producer of the Year, Regan Organic Farm for Meat Producer of the Year, Atlantis of Kilmore Quay for the Sustainability Award, Food and Drink Producer, and Fish & Seafood Producer of the Year, Killowen Farm for Dairy Producer of the Year, Butcher\u2019s Best for Shop of the Year.<\/p>\n
These awards are judged by an independent panel of Irish and international experts through onsite mystery inspections and detailed assessments on the basis of strict criteria in sourcing, Irish provenance, and sustainability.<\/p>\n
In addition, the ever-popular Food Lovers Choice Awards \u2013 voted for by the public \u2013 will honour much-loved food, drink and hospitality businesses across five regions: Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland\u2019s Ancient East, Ireland\u2019s Hidden Heartlands, Dublin and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n
