The Galaxy Watch 7 series is reportedly getting a One UI 8 update based on Wear OS 6 in certain regions, marking the start of a wider rollout to more Galaxy Watch devices.<\/p>\n
One UI 8 brings a number of changes to the Galaxy Watch series. Namely, the addition of UI elements like new stacking tiles and easier app management changes the feel of the watch series. The Wear OS 6 update initially launched with the Galaxy Watch 8<\/a>, though the Watch 7 and others were able to join an open beta prior to a wider rollout.<\/p>\n Update 10\/14: Users are starting to report that the One UI 8 stable update has begun rolling out to devices in the US. This comes one day after launching in Korea. Given that timeframe, it could be seen hitting Galaxy Watch 7 series devices in Europe shortly, though there is no confirmed data to suggest so.<\/p>\n That larger stable release is starting today, according to a post on Twitter\/X by @tarunvats33<\/a>. The post shows a screenshot of the One UI 8 changelog for the Galaxy Watch 7, though it appears limited to Korea. That\u2019s likely to change, and something that\u2019s more than expected.<\/p>\n The changelog offers no new information that diverges from the One UI 8 we\u2019re familiar with on the Watch 8 series. That leaves two basic models in this phase.<\/p>\n Samsung promised an update to One UI 8 in August<\/a> 2025, taking place \u201clater in the year.\u201d That promise has come true, and Samsung stuck to its word regarding timing with little time left in the year.
