Salary:\u00a0Competitive salary, plus\u00a0travel expenses<\/p>\n
Location:\u00a0Dragons Offices\/Schools\/Rodney Parade\/venues across the Dragons region.<\/p>\n
Contract type:\u00a0One-year fixed term contract. Subject to six-month probationary period.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\n\tUnder the management of the Dragons Education & Engagement Manager, deliver our Healthy Dragons\u00a0Programme and its sub initiatives.
\n\tMonitor & collect evidence to report on agreed monitoring process to fulfil club’s\u00a0obligations.
\n\tBuild quality working relationships with schools, clubs, staff and pupils.
\n\tDelivery of match day activation at all Dragons home matches at Rodney Parade.
\n\tDelivery of Dragons holiday skills camps & FFF, FF programmes around the region.
\n\tSupport Community departments Inclusion,\u00a0Outreach and Diversity programmes where and when required.
\n\tAttend Dragons Community events and relevant meetings as requested by Line Manager.
\n\tComply with company policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
\n\tPostively promote Dragons RFC & Community at every opportunity, acting as a good role model at al times.
\n\tContribute to the overall ethos\/work\/aims of Dragons RFC.
\n\tComply with Dragons RFC Employee Handbook Policies & Procedures.

Person Specification:<\/p>\n
Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tMinimum 12 months experience working within a Sports Development discipline.
\n\tExperience of delivering festivals \/ tournaments and recruitment days.
\n\tExperience of working with children and adults.
\n\tExperience of working in schools.
\n\tAbility to demonstrate a good level of knowledge and competence within coaching environment.
\n\tAn understanding of the needs of coaches within the community environment.
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
<\/p>\n
Skills & Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\n\tA formal qualification or experience in a rugby, sport or education environment.\u00a0
\n\tEffective IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
\n\tRugby coaching qualification, minimum Tag Leaders Award
