Kim Kardashian is getting candid about her coparenting relationship with ex-husband <\/a>Kanye West.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, October 15, the 44-year-old Skims founder \u2014 who shares children North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with the rapper, 48 \u2014 appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast<\/a> and shared insight into their family dynamics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI raise the kids, you know, full-time,\u201d she remarked. \u201cThey live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. And I think, you know, he knows that. I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when, you know, it\u2019s time for that. And it goes in waves and phases, and it\u2019s, you know, a lot of work.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reality TV personality also revealed when the \u201cGold Digger\u201d hitmaker last contacted her and the children.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s probably been a couple months since we\u2019ve heard from him,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n

However, The Kardashians star explained the kids \u201calways knew\u201d that their dad \u201chad a big life\u201d in terms of travel and touring, and noted \u201cthey love their life and their routine and their schedule.\u201d<\/p>\n

The businesswoman also addressed the public narrative that she keeps the kids away from the musician.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time he has asked, I will always let them see their father. That\u2019s just who I am,\u201d Kardashian insisted. \u201cIf there\u2019s a time where it\u2019s just really super unhealthy, I will, you know, say, \u2018Hey, let\u2019s do it here at my house or let\u2019s figure out a different time.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cActually, when he is like that, he doesn\u2019t really want to see the kids a lot,\u201d Kardashian admitted. \u201cSo if he\u2019s, like, having a hard time, like, he doesn\u2019t. And so it\u2019s always worked out. He lives in all these different countries, and I send them and you know, to Saudi Arabia, and Italy, and Japan, and all over the world every time he asks. I\u2019ve never once denied it.\u201d<\/p>\n
