Emma Stone stars as a high-powered CEO suspected of being an Andromedan in Yorgos Lanthimos\u2019 Bugonia, and its genre-bending conspiracies are spilling over into real life with a new in-universe website.<\/p>\n

Human Resistance HQ<\/a> evokes the lo-fi aesthetic of the early web as it spins conspiracy theories surrounding Stones\u2019 character and the alien race she\u2019s suspected of being. Discover in-universe details and Easter eggs, including sign-ups for advanced screenings of Bugonia!<\/p>\n

Bugonia will receive a\u00a0special limited engagement\u00a0on\u00a0October 24, ahead of a wide expansion on\u00a0October 31, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The film follows \u201ctwo conspiracy-obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced she is an alien intent on destroying Planet Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bugonia is\u00a0an English-language remake of 2003\u2019s Korean genre-bender\u00a0Save the Green Planet!,<\/a> an offbeat, black comedy-sci-fi feature written and directed by Jang Joon-Hwan. The teaser below introduces Stone as the powerful CEO targeted by a pair who suspect her of being an alien.<\/p>\n

Jesse Plemons\u00a0(Civil War,\u00a0Antlers), Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias\u00a0(Let\u2019s Start a Cult), and\u00a0Alicia Silverstone (The Lodge) also star in\u00a0Bugonia. Lanthimos directs from a screenplay by\u00a0Will Tracy (The Menu<\/a>).<\/p>\n
