Trump\u2019s \u201cusual\u201d tactics wouldn\u2019t work on CNN\u2019s Chief White House Correspondent, Stewart explained. \u201cShe\u2019s always just like, matter of fact,\u201d Stewart explained. Collins would say something like, \u201c\u2018Because you did say two and a half weeks ago, and I think I\u2019ve got the quote right here,\u2019 and they\u2019re all like, \u2018What are you doing, homework? Why are you trying to make us all look bad?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n
Collins has garnered a reputation for asking tough questions<\/a>, often putting MAGA-world on the spot <\/a>about the topics they\u2019re most keen not to talk about<\/a>. <\/p>\n This week, Republican Montana Sen. Tim Sheehy was left speechless after Collins simply asked<\/a> whether he supports the $1 billion in clean energy funding Trump\u2019s administration canceled in his state. \u201cI\u2019ve never seen someone made to look so patently foolish without the interviewer ever suggesting this was so,\u201d one X user observed.<\/p>\n
