\n\tAl Pacino<\/a> is remembering his sweet memories with the late<\/a> Diane Keaton<\/a>. On Thursday, the actor shared a tribute<\/a> for his Godfather co-star via Deadline<\/a>, remembering the Keaton (whom he dated for several years) as a \u201conce-in-a-lifetime gift\u201d who was simply \u201cmagnetic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen I first heard the news, I was shaken. Diane was my partner, my friend \u2014 someone who brought me happiness and, on more than one occasion, influenced the direction of my life,\u201d Pacino wrote. \u201cThough over thirty years have passed since we were together, the memories remain vivid, and with her passing, they have returned with a force that is both painful and moving.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPacino continued: \u201cShe lived without limits, and everything she touched carried her unmistakable energy. She opened doors for others, inspired generations, and embodied a once-in-a-lifetime gift that radiated through her work and her life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPacino, 85, and Keaton co-starred in 1972\u2019s The Godfather and had a romantic relationship into the 1980s. She died last week of pneumonia<\/a> at age 79. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOn screen, she was magnetic \u2014 lightning and charm, hurricanes and tenderness. She was a wonder. Acting was her art, but it was only one of the many ways she expressed her imagination and creativity,\u201d he wrote. \u201cPeople will miss her, but more than that, they will remember her. She left a mark that cannot fade. She was unstoppable, resilient, and above all, deeply human.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added, \u201cI will always remember her. She could fly \u2014 and in my heart, she always will.\u201d<\/p>\n
