Bryan Fuller<\/a> made a career creating idiosyncratic series like \u201cPushing Daisies<\/a>\u201d and \u201cHannibal<\/a>,\u201d and has written for many more. Now he\u2019s readying his feature film debut, which is set to debut at this year\u2019s Toronto International Film Festival.<\/p>\n

\u201cDust Bunny<\/a>,\u201d which has its world premiere on Monday at TIFF as part of Midnight Madness<\/a>, stars Sophie Sloan<\/a> as Aurora<\/a>, a young girl who is menaced by the giant, magical and bloodthirsty title beast who lives under her bed. She then hires a hitman (\u201cHannibal<\/a>\u201d star Mads Mikkelsen<\/a>) to take care of the problem\u2026if only he believes her.<\/p>\n

Fuller<\/a> says the story started as one of the possible episodes of the 2020 Apple TV+ series \u201cAmazing Stories<\/a>,\u201d based on the Steven Spielberg<\/a>-created anthology show from the \u201980s.<\/p>\n
