Netflix has released a new poster and four fresh images from\u00a0Guillermo del Toro\u2018s Frankenstein.<\/p>\n

The adaptation of\u00a0Mary Shelley\u2018s genre-defining 1818 novel is in select theaters<\/a> today, but del Toro assures us<\/a> that \u201cthe number of theatres will expand soon!\u201d<\/p>\n

Following its big-screen run, the film lands on Netflix November 7.<\/p>\n

It stars Oscar Isaac (Dune) as Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi (Saltburn) as Frankenstein\u2019s monster, Mia Goth (MaXXXine) as Elizabeth Lavenza, and Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) as Dr. Pretorius.<\/p>\n

Brilliant but egotistical scientist Victor Frankenstein brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.<\/p>\n

Felix Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front), Lars Mikkelsen (\u201cAhsoka\u201d), David Bradley (Harry Potter), Christian Convery (\u201cSweet Tooth\u201d), Ralph Ineson (The Witch), and Charles Dance (\u201cGame of Thrones\u201d) round out the cast.<\/p>\n

Meagan Navarro\u00a0wrote in her review<\/a>, \u201cThere\u2019s no question that Frankenstein is absolutely breathtaking, with imagery and set pieces that instantly embed themselves in your memory. It showcases del Toro\u2019s strength as a filmmaker, creating immersive worlds that enhance what he does best: championing monsters and their tragic humanity instead of using them to scare us.\u201d<\/p>\n
