That period of “boring”, settled and dry weather<\/a> is set to give way this weekend, as a number of rain warnings<\/a> are set to come into effect for counties in the south of Ireland.<\/p>\n Heavy downpours are expected through a washout night, particularly in Munster<\/a>, and there is the chance of thundery bursts in the areas affected by the various weather warnings.<\/p>\n Don’t be fooled by the relatively calm start to the day as conditions will take a turn for the worse as the day progresses this Saturday, October 18.<\/p>\n Met Eireann has issued 12-hour Status Yellow rain warnings for the counties of Cork<\/a> and Kerry<\/a> from 5pm on Saturday.
