A rising young screen star from Letterkenny will be appearing in a new Channel 4 series coming to our screens this year.<\/p>\n
Eleven-year-old Daith\u00ed \u00d3 Harag\u00e1in, son of Paul \u00d3 Harag\u00e1in and Una Ni Bhriain, acts alongside Lola Petticrew in Trespasses, a forbidden love story set in 1975 against the backdrop of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n
The series also stars Gillian Anderson (Scoop, Sex Education) and Tom Cullen\u00a0(The Gold, Weekend).<\/p>\n
Last year Daith\u00ed featured in Say Nothing, the hugely popular Disney+ drama produced by FX, which also starred Lola Petticrew.<\/p>\n
A pupil of Gaelscoil Adhamhn\u00e1in, Daith\u00ed hones his skills with the Encore Performance Arts Academy and is proudly represented by their talent agency \u2013 Thompson & Borland by Rebecca Thompson and Laura Borland.<\/p>\n
Excitement is building for the release of Trespasses, a four-part series based on Louise Kennedy\u2019s breakout debut novel.<\/p>\n
The story follows Cushla, a sparky young woman whose desires and dreams have been frustrated by the grind of daily life. Catholic schoolteacher Cushla then meets Michael, an older Protestant married man, who often defends IRA suspects and is friends with cultured Bohemians who enrage and intrigue Cushla. Worlds apart, Cushla knows a relationship like this spells all kinds of trouble, but they are irresistibly drawn to one another.<\/p>\n
