The Law Society of Ireland has invited Transition Year students in Kerry to enter a competition exploring the topic of online freedom of speech.<\/p>\n

The Gr\u00e1inne O\u2019Neill Legal Essay Competition<\/a> is a school outreach programmes aimed at expanding access to the law and legal education for young people.<\/p>\n

To enter, students must submit a 1,500-word essay on the topic, \u201cProtecting Voices, Preventing Harm: Legal Challenges in Online Freedom of Speech\u201d by Friday November 21st<\/p>\n

Last year, 350 students from 52 schools across the country entered the competition<\/a>, honoring the life and legacy of the late Judge Gr\u00e1inne O\u2019Neill<\/p>\n
