Kenny Loggins<\/a> is the latest in the long, long (long!<\/a>) list of artists who have asked Trump to not use their music. On Saturday night, Trump posted an AI-generated video of himself apparently dumping feces out of a plane onto No Kings protesters<\/a>. The video was set to Loggins\u2019 \u201cDanger Zone,\u201d a move of which Loggins was not a fan. In a lengthy statement to NPR<\/a>, Loggins wrote\u00a0\u201cThis is an unauthorized use of my performance of \u2018Danger Zone.\u2019 Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video is removed immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n Loggins\u2019 objection was less the poop and more the political bullshit. \u201cI can\u2019t imagine why anybody would want their music used or associated with something created with the sole purpose of dividing us,\u201d he wrote. \u201cToo many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together. We\u2019re all Americans, and we\u2019re all patriotic. There is no \u2018us and them\u2019 \u2013 that\u2019s not who we are, nor is it what we should be. It\u2019s all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n The View<\/a>\u2019s Sunny Hostin called the video \u201cunpresidential,\u201d which seems an objective assessment of a video where Trump is literally wearing a crown. \u201cWhat I was really struck by is how unpresidential he is,\u201d she said on The View. \u201cIt\u2019s not striking me now, but it was just striking to me that he is using profanity when he is speaking to the press corps and [posting] an AI video of feces on United States citizens.\u201d When asked for comment by Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, the White House sent a meme of a \u201ccrying liberal.\u201d<\/p>\n Related<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"He\u2019s not alright.
