The Galaxy Watch 7 is getting a fresh coat of paint thanks to the arrival of Samsung’s One UI 8 update. While the update has been available in Korea since last week<\/a>, and we also saw it rolling out in the US<\/a>, it’s now getting a wider release, arriving on models across the globe.<\/p>\n

The news comes from Android Headlines<\/a>, sharing that the update is now available in “Europe, Asia, and other international markets.” If you’re a Galaxy Watch 7 owner, you’ll want to head into the Settings menu in order to see if your watch can be updated. The update comes in a pretty hefty size at 1.9GB, so just make sure you have the space to download the update before you start. <\/p>\n

A new set of features to explore<\/p>\n

The good news is that the update also includes the September 2025 security update as well. One UI 8 is going to be a big software update for the Galaxy Watch 7, bringing a variety of new and useful features<\/a>. Some of the highlights of the new update include new Bedtime Guidance and Vascular Load features.<\/p>\n

There’s also a new Running Coach that will help you get the best experience possible from your runs by analyzing your current performance. Then there’s the Antioxidant Index, which Samsung states that the Galaxy Watch will be able to take measurements of the body and give you a better idea of your health and the foods that you eat.<\/p>\n

For the most part, these should be some pretty exciting features to try out, especially if you’ve been using your Galaxy Watch for some time. There’s nothing like a fresh coat of paint when it comes to software, offering a new kind of experience that keeps the watch feeling fresh.<\/p>\n

If you want to give this new update a try, just head into your Settings menu on the watch, check for the update, and download it if it’s available.
