Axios reported earlier on the job cuts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The downsizing is the latest move in the heated AI race by Meta and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, who\u2019s spending aggressively to keep pace with rivals like OpenAI and Alphabet\u2019s Google.
