Aldo is celebrating the fifth and final season of the Netflix series “Stranger Things” with a limited-edition capsule collection.
The 18-piece Stranger Things x Aldo collection comes to life through 1980s-inspired retro lace-ups, Hellfire Club-inspired sneakers, and statement accessories.
Each piece is layered with unexpected details – like mixtapes, Dungeons & Dragons dice, and Hawkins landmarks – that aim to transform the collection into covetable items that celebrate individuality and fandom, the footwear company said.
Amanda Amar, vice president of global brand strategy, social media and PR at Aldo, told FN that the goal with this collection was to tap into ’80s fashion and cultural references that “Stranger Things” is known for, all while maintaining the Aldo DNA.
“As with so many of our collaborations, the beauty really is in the details, so each piece is layered with unexpected nods to Hawkins High, the Upside Down and of course, the show’s characters … which all really help to transform each piece into covetable items that celebrate individuality and fandom,” Amar said.
The executive added that Aldo’s approach to collaborations like this one are a “powerful way to drive cultural relevance when they’re done right.”

The Stranger Things x Aldo Collection is now available online at Aldoshoes.com and in stores. The latest season of “Stranger Things” will debut in three volumes on Netflix this fall: with four episodes on Nov. 26, three episodes on Christmas Day, and the finale on New Year’s Eve.
