Developed and published by Wunder Entertainment, Lost Isle is an upcoming open-world survival title that offers a procedurally generated fantasy world for players to explore!
The game takes place in an alternate Earth during the medieval period, and players will find themselves trapped on an island that is the prison and tomb of a fallen god, Mauroth.
While the genre is usually set in magicless lands, this time, survivors will have to buckle down against other players and skeletal warriors alike! Did we mention there’s a cosmic power at play, too?
The game will release to Early Access, but the developer is confident that the procedurally generated nature of the gameplay will make each wipe cycle will offer a new experience!
Weston Leavitt, the Co-founder of Wunder Entertainment, had the following to say,
Launching into Early Access is just the beginning of Lost Isle’s development journey. We’re eager to work closely with our fans and community and gather feedback to allow us to refine gameplay, add new content, and continually build toward the full 1.0 release.
Here’s everything you can expect from Lost Isle:
An open-world survival craft set during the medieval period in a magic-filled alternate Earth.
Each server can host up to 200 survivors.
PvE and PvP encounters, from rabbits and skeletal warriors to other players.
Craft various weapons and armour, including things like staves.
Build settlements.
A procedurally generated world.
Lore to uncover by exploring and reading journals.
Lost Isle will be available on Steam’s Early Access on the 23rd of September. There’s a demo available (it can be found on the right-hand side of the page under “Is this game relevant to you?”).
