Addison Rae brought sheer nude illusion to the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday in New York City.
Rae’s dress featured a dramatic deep V neckline and nude illusion mesh straps that create a daring contrast against the gown’s sleek black fabric. The figure-hugging silhouette featured a flared skirt with a slight mermaid effect.

The look was paired with minimal jewelry, including a simple pendant necklace, allowing the gown to be the focal point. The hair was styled in soft, loose waves with a side part, and the makeup appeared natural with defined eyes and a neutral lip.

Rae has recently made waves for embracing vintage fashion. In October, the singer appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in a 70-year-old original burlesque gown owned by the legendary Gypsy Rose Lee, sourced from The Way We Wore vintage boutique. The gown, created by MGM costume designer Helen Rose, featured gold fringe, prong-set rhinestones, and beaded fringe, weighing around 14 pounds.
Often working with stylist Dara Allen, Rae also debuted one of Dario Vitale’s first creations for Versace while performing her tour in Nashville, Tennessee, in September. She wore a silver and gold bra top and bejeweled briefs from Versace’s spring 2026 collection.
