How the announcement unfolded on social media
Producer Chakravarthy Ramachandran had announced via a post that a major update from the Bramayugam team, which has won four Kerala State Film Awards, would be revealed tonight. Subsequently, director Rahul Sadasivan responded to this, stating it was a ‘betrayal’ and asked, “Sir, wasn’t this supposed to be released at 10:30 PM?” Producer Chakravarthy replied that he couldn’t wait that long.
Following their playful banter on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), speculations spread on social media. Many speculated that the film would be screened in colour print, or that an update about a sequel was on its way. Finally, the update about the film’s screening at the Oscar Academy Museum was revealed.
