Jay Shetty has a new purpose: To help sort out messy, complicated modern relationships for Audible. The multihyphenate will host the intimate and unscripted 10-episode series Messy Love: Difficult Conversations for Deeper Connection, a new Audible Original set to debut Jan. 22, 2026.

During the series, Shetty will steer three couples through “the complexities of modern relationships, offering listeners unfiltered access to raw moments of vulnerability and transformation, as well as concrete tools to improve their own relationships,” per Audible. Those three couples represent a range of partnerships, from young, recently separated parents that are hoping for a reconciliation to longterm partners intent to work through the issues that plague such unions (think power, recognition, respect, money and more).

“In Messy Love, we’re embracing the reality that love isn’t perfect — it’s a practice,” Shetty explained in a statement. “Through my collaboration with Audible, we’re inviting listeners into authentic coaching sessions, working through real relationship challenges together. This series goes beyond traditional advice, offering practical tools for deeper connections. My hope is that everyone, regardless of their relationship status, will find insights to create more meaningful bonds in their lives and with themselves.”

These are skills that Shetty has perfected across his career and put on display while hosting his blockbuster podcast On Purpose, which recently celebrated a sold-out run of live shows. The Hollywood Reporter attended the Los Angeles event at the Greek Theatre where, during one portion of the show, guests were weeping in their seats during some of the transformative crowd work moments.

“In Messy Love, Jay Shetty gives listeners a front-row seat to the real work of love in all its imperfect, raw, and deeply human glory. With his trademark empathy, honesty, and practical wisdom, Jay helps real couples work through real challenges and see themselves — and each other — in new ways,” offered up Audible chief content officer Rachel Ghiazza. “We’re thrilled to add Messy Love and Jay’s enduring insight and compassionate coaching to our growing collection of Original programming that both entertains and enriches our listeners’ lives.”

That collection includes The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen and Super Attractor with Gabrielle Bernstein. Messy Love: Difficult Conversations for Deeper Connection will be available exclusively from Audible.
