The purebred female Siberian tiger cub born at Seoul Grand Park on June 6 will be revealed to the public in November, the park announced Friday.

The cub — first tiger born at the park in about three years — will turn 100 days old on Saturday.

The cub’s parents, Rostov and Penza — both 15 years old and originally from the Russian wild — successfully produced offspring despite their advanced age.

Seoul Grand Park credited the successful birth to its careful management, improved habitats and health programs. The zoo plans to name the cub through a public contest and introduce it to visitors in mid-November after vaccinations.
