Ajay Devgn To Make A Cameo In Mastiii 4? Here’s What We Know

A recent report suggests that Ajay Devgn might make a special cameo appearance in Mastiii 4, the next installment of the popular comedy franchise. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement, sources have hinted that the actor has been approached for a humorous guest role. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles.

Bollywood Hungama mentioned its report, “Ajay appears in Mastiii 4 in a scene. It is a hilarious sequence which would be a treat for the fans of the actor and of this franchise. He is expected to appear towards the end of the film.” The source further added, “The makers realized that there’s a great opportunity to bring Ajay Devgn back into the franchise. Accordingly, they approached the actor. Ajay has a great bond with director Milap Zaveri and Indra Kumar. Last year, he was present as the chief guest at the launch of the duo’s film, Tera Yaar Hoon Main. Indra Kumar, or Indu ji as he’s fondly called, has even directed Ajay several times, including the upcoming comic caper Dhamaal 4. Hence, Ajay was more than happy to shoot for the cameo. The scene has turned out well, and the makers are looking forward to seeing how the public reacts to it.”

Directed by Milap Zaveri, Masti 4 also stars Ruhii Singh, Shreya Sharma, Elnaaz Norouzi, Shaad Randhawa, Nishant Singh Malkani, and Natalia Janoszek. The film is scheduled to release on November 21, 2025.

The Masti franchise began in 2004 with the first film turning into a box office hit. Its sequel, Grand Masti (2013), enjoyed similar commercial success. The third instalment, Great Grand Masti (2016), however, underperformed following an online leak prior to its release.

Ajay Devgn’s work front

The actor will be soon seen in De De Pyaar De 2 with Rakul Preet Singh.  Directed by Anshul Sharma, the sequel to the 2019 hit romantic comedy continues the story of an age-gap romance filled with love, humour, and family drama. De De Pyar De 2 is gearing up to hit the theatres this weekend and the advance booking reports suggest that it will have a good opening on Friday, November 14.

The film’s advance booking began on Tuesday, and according to trade portal Sacnilk, it has sold around 5,382 tickets for its opening day so far. As of 10 a.m. on Wednesday, De De Pyaar De 2 had earned approximately Rs 19.13 lakh for Day 1, and Rs 1.37 crore including blocked seats.
