Issa Pressman opened up about her relationship with James Reid in a tell-all interview on Karen Davila’s YouTube channel.
In the interview, the actress and singer said that she and James had been friends for years before they got together. She was also signed to James’ music label, Careless.
“When I met the biggest love that came in my life, came the biggest challenge,” Issa said.
Before going public with her relationship with James, Issa messaged Nadine Lustre, actress and James’ ex-girlfriend.
“Of course, out of respect for them,” Issa said. “I told her, I was like, ‘We started dating and I really wanna see where this is gonna go.’”
“[Nadine] was so kind and was saying, ‘Good morning. To be honest, that’s been a lifetime ago, I appreciate you telling me. I wish you guys the best of luck.’”
From there, Issa said everything was clear and good, so she and James decided to go public with their relationship.
In 2023, they went to Harry Styles’ concert in the Philippines together, and posted about it online.
The couple has since been sharing photos with sweet messages for each other.
