Abhira leads a playful Children’s Day celebration in the Poddar house, but the mood shifts when the truth about Tanya’s hidden investment begins to surface.

In tonight’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira brings out a set of shorts for all the men in the family and cheerfully instructs them to get dressed. Madhav immediately refuses, saying he cannot imagine wearing shorts. Abhira explains that since they are marking Children’s Day, everyone has to behave like kids for the celebration.
Armaan and Krish Shocked by Abhira’s School-Themed Demands
Hearing this, Krish asks if they also need to carry school bags. Sanjay flatly declines to wear shorts, but Abhira reminds him that boys of his height used to wear them back in school. She then distributes bags to everyone. Armaan protests and says he will not walk around holding a bag, but Abhira playfully asks where he plans to keep his books if he doesn’t carry one. Armaan and Krish are stunned to hear that they will have to take books along as well.
Meanwhile, Manisha requests Maira to keep the math book away from her, saying she cannot even look at it. Kiara teases her and says she had no idea Manisha was scared of math. Kaveri laughs along, enjoying Manisha’s discomfort. Embarrassed, Manisha says she always assumed Kiara would be the courageous one, but Kiara ended up getting a compartment in math.
Abhir’s Sudden Entry Leaves Kiara Uneasy
Just then, Abhir approaches the group, Maira, Manisha, Kaveri, and Kiara, catching them all off guard. Kiara is visibly startled to see him there. Kaveri questions Abhir about his sudden appearance. He explains that Abhira sent him to deliver water bottles.
Sensing something unusual, Manisha asks Kiara what is going on between her and Abhir. Kiara firmly denies any connection. Manisha warns Kiara to stay cautious, telling her that if she slips up again, she will not spare her. Kiara quietly admits she has already stepped back from Abhir because she refuses to hurt Manisha and Manoj.
Inspector Reveals Tanya’s Link to Varun’s Viral Video
On the other side of the house, Tanya tells Krish that Mehta is about to send her the investment documents. She decides to keep this information hidden from everyone. Soon after, the inspector informs Abhira and Armaan that Tanya had put money into Varun’s company, and that move was the reason the incriminating video spread widely.
Hearing this, Armaan becomes furious and decides Tanya must face consequences. Abhira suggests speaking to Tanya and Krish separately before taking any decision.
Tanya and Krish grow tense, realising their secret is on the verge of coming out. Armaan and Abhira confront Tanya, accusing her of breaking their trust. Abhira says she always sensed Tanya did not like her, but never imagined she would deceive them this way. Tanya tries to explain that she was unaware of Varun’s background at the time of the investment.
Krish jumps in, saying there is no point explaining because they will never believe her. After thinking it through, Armaan and Abhira tell Tanya to stay quiet about the matter for now. Relieved, Tanya thanks them for showing faith in her.
Poddars Celebrate Children’s Day Amid Tension

Later, the Poddar family begins their Children’s Day festivities, with everyone dressed and behaving like school kids. Tanya waits anxiously for Mehta to arrive with the paperwork. Kajal notices Tanya’s nervousness and asks her if something is bothering her. Tanya says she incurred a business loss and didn’t want to trouble anyone with it. Kajal reassures her and encourages her not to stress. Vidya happens to overhear Kajal giving Tanya business advice.
Mehta finally reaches the house and hands the file to Tanya. Before she can take a proper look, Kiara picks up the file and sets it aside. Tanya becomes even more uneasy. At the same time, a delivery arrives for Abhira. She opens the box and discovers that it contains the agreement papers between Tanya and Varun.

In the precap, the Poddars discover Tanya’s involvement in the investment. Abhira tries to clarify the situation. In a shocking moment, Vidya slaps Kajal. Abhira questions Vidya for raising her hand on Kajal without knowing the complete truth. Vidya, overwhelmed and in tears, asks Abhira if she is really standing against her for someone else.
At that moment, Armaan steps in, making it clear that he supports Abhira, and decides he will not speak to Vidya until she apologises. Their confrontation is abruptly halted when the lady inspector arrives and cuts them off.
