The Warrington and Halton Support Hub, run by charity Mental Health Matters, offers a safe space for adults experiencing mental health distress and operates during evening hours when other services may be unavailable.

Tracey Bell, director of quality and operations at Mental Health Matters, said: “The Support Hub offers a safe space for anyone feeling distressed, anxious, or overwhelmed, at a time when they may be unable to access other services.

“Our team is here to listen, offer reassurance, and help people find the right support for their mental wellbeing.”

Located in Warrington, the hub also offers sessions one night a week in Widnes and Runcorn.

No referral or appointment is needed, and support is available to anyone aged 18 or over.

The service is funded by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Mental Health Matters operates similar crisis services across England and supported more than 16,000 people last year.

The charity provides a wide range of support for individuals with mental health needs.
