The moody sartorial season is officially setting in. Maybe it’s because I just finished bingeing Wednesday (anyone else?) or because October is fast approaching (Halloween!), but I’m feeling the dark, romantic, mysterious fashion moments that have slowly, but surely creeped (wink, wink) their way onto the streets. Case in point: Jennifer Aniston’s sexy style approach to wearing one of fall 2025’s top trends. 

The actress has been bopping around the Big Apple, and every time, she served up style on a silver platter. But it’s her silky black slip dress and blazer combo that I can’t wait to recreate. It’s obviously moody and stylish, but it also shines light on the one trend I’ve been seeing all the cool girls wear: lace trim anything. Aniston’s mid-length slip dress has the romantic detailing at the neckline, which I love for a subtle pop, but if you want to go all out, consider an all-over lace-trim hemline that you’re going to be seeing a lot more of in the next few weeks.
