Netflix has several top shows, and fans can’t wait to get more of them. One of them is The Lincoln Lawyer.
The legal drama series premiered in 2022 and has returned almost every year since its debut. Unfortunately, 2025 was a big exception, as Season 3 premiered in October 2024, and it also featured a huge cliffhanger. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long because Netflix has officially confirmed The Lincoln Lawyer will premiere on Feb. 5.
The release date news is also in line with the previous reports, as insiders have claimed the show would officially return on that date. Now, fans can officially mark the date on their calendars to find out what happens to Mickey Haller. Season 3 ended with a major cliffhanger, as the leading character was arrested after police found the body of con artist Sam Scales in the trunk of his Lincoln.
Alongside the announcement, Netflix also unveiled the first look at several newcomers, including Constance Zimmer, who joins the show as Dana Berg, a colleague of Maggie’s from her days in the LA district attorney’s office. Zimmer joins in a 10-episode guest arc.
Her character is described as “a relentless prosecutor who will let nothing stand in the way of a guilty verdict.” She will also be a fierce opponent for Mickey, and fully show why her nickname is “Death Row Dana.”
The show notes she is “A fierce and ruthless adversary who bends the rules to her advantage, she’s the last person Mickey wants to go up against in what will be the trial of his life.”
The show’s developer and co-showrunner, Ted Humphrey, teased to Tudum that he was “incredibly excited” about working with Zimmer, adding, “I shot our first scene with Constance in court, and it was fantastic!” Cobie Smulders, Sasha Alexander, Fire Country’s Jason O’Mara, Superman & Lois’ Emmanuelle Chiriquí, and American Soul’s Javon Johnson also joined Season 4.
What Happens in The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4?

Season 4 has to answer all the questions left in the air following the shocking Season 3 finale, especially what happens to Mickey. Season 4’s official logline reads, “Mickey Haller faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s own past.”
At the same time, The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 promises the same “signature twists, along with the unique blend of suspense, humor and heart.”
“We are absolutely thrilled to share Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer with the world,” co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement after the release date announcement.
“Following the incredibly suspenseful and emotional climax of Season 3, the stakes have never been higher, because this time Mickey is the client. With his very life and reputation on the line, he’ll need the strength and support of his entire team, and his entire family, to fight for his future.”
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will premiere on Feb. 5.
