Israel and Bolivia restored diplomatic relations this week after years of estrangement. On Monday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and his Bolivian counterpart, Fernando Aramayo, signed an agreement to reinstate diplomatic ties in a ceremony in Washington, just days after the Bolivian government announced it would reinstate visa waivers for tourists from the U.S. and Israel.
