DALLAS — There’s a new country radio station in North Texas.

Cumulus Media on Monday launched Country Legends & Texas Classics 93.3 HD2, which will play country hits from the 70s and 80s. The station debuted at noon Monday with a song that fit the billing: George Strait’s “Does Fort Worth Every Cross Your Mind.”

Other country legends on the station will include Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Alabama, Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, Alan Jackson and Reba McIntyre, according to a press release from Cumulus.

“We are doubling down on our long-term commitment to Country music in Texas by launching Country Legends & Texas Classics 93.3 HD2,” Cumulus Dallas regional vice president Dan Bennett said. “This station will give a voice to great Country hits from the 70’s and 80’s.”

Cumulus also owns two other country stations in the market, 99.5 The WOLF and New Country 96.3.
