It’s not enough just to rent ad space on the most recognizable billboard in the country. No, to capture audiences in the cutthroat attention economy, you have to scoop Timothée Chalamet up by the nape of his neck like a Rollercoaster Tycoon NPC and drop him on top of said billboard, which happens to be tall, scary, and sloped. Chalamet posted a video today from the top of the Sphere in Las Vegas, where he yells, “Marty Supreme is an American film that comes out on Christmas Day 2025!” before the camera pulls back to reveal just how teeny-weeny he is compared to said Sphere. You see rows and rows of all the individual light bulbs, which, once the camera is far enough, have made the Sphere resemble the classic orange Marty Supreme Ping-Pong ball. It “spins” to say “in theaters Christmas Day” and to also say “Cash App,” which makes this all make more sense, because A24 doesn’t scream “Sphere money.”

A mic’d-up Chalamet does plenty of improvised “woo”-ing and “ya!”-ing while pumping his fists, making a Rocky-style silhouette against a Nevada sunset that is also, suspiciously, orange. Has Chalamet taken this marketing campaign so far that he’s paying off the heavens themselves?

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chalamet at this time as he attempts to get down from there.
