In perhaps the least surprising news of 2025, the Prime Video streaming charts have been destroyed in nuclear fashion by the return of Fallout. After Season 2 premiered on December 16th, fans of the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and Lucy’s (Ella Purnell) epic post-apocalyptic journey have been treated to a second installment that hasn’t disappointed, even if only one episode has been released so far. With that in mind, and with Episode 2, penned by Chris Brady-Denton, set to drop on December 24, you’ll likely be looking for more content to keep you entertained. To help you decide what to watch next, here’s a look at three Prime Video shows you need to binge this week.

With many people lucky enough not to be working this week, you might be looking for something boasting both quality and quantity. Why not try the longest-running live-action fantasy series in U.S. television history? Eric Kripke’s Supernatural follows Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, as they battle all manner of dangerous monsters whilst on the hunt for their missing father.

Boasting a ‘monster-of-the-week’ format at its very best, there’s a reason Supernatural ran for 15 seasons and 327 episodes. Beloved by a huge fanbase, even five years after the fantasy series finally came to an end, the bandwagon continues to roll for those eager to jump on. Also starring the likes of Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alona Tal, and Jim Beaver, and featuring a memorable soundtrack, Supernatural is a great way to spend your holiday season.

‘River’ (2015)

Rotten Tomatoes: 100% | IMDb: 7.9/10

Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd is one of the favorites to win an Oscar heading into next year’s Academy Award race, and, in light of Sentimental Value’s critical triumph, why not check out one of his other great performances? Struggling to deal with the death of his detective partner, Stevie (Nicola Walker), River stars SkarsgÃ¥rd as the titular detective, who solves the toughest cases in London with the help of the ghosts of victims and criminals.

Boasting a perfect 100% from critics and 95% from audiences on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, River is one of the best crime noir tales of the past 10 years. Blending separate, procedural-style cases with a series-arcing tale, both emotionally gripping and tense, there are few series available on Prime Video quite as good as this.

‘The Middle’ (2009–2018)

Rotten Tomatoes: 88% | IMDb: 7.7/10

Following the everyday life of a middle-class, Midwestern family in the fictional Orson, Indiana, Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline’s The Middle unpacks the ups, downs, and in-betweens of a dysfunctional clan across 215 episodes and nine seasons. Don’t miss out on the daily mishaps of Frances “Frankie” Heck (Patricia Heaton), her husband Mike (Neil Flynn), and Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher, and Atticus Shaffer as their children, 15-year-old Axl, 13-year-old Sue, and 8-year-old Brick.

A Primetime Emmy-nominated comedy with plenty of quotable moments, The Middle is a heartwarming, hilarious series. Given the many beloved comedies airing at the same time, The Middle is tragically underrated, with this character-driven comedy rivaling many of the best in terms of both quality and quantity. To add endless laughs to your festive week, check out The Middle.
