Sepia-toned walls and tan leather seating ground the space, while the open kitchen and visible pizza oven become part of the dining room itself. Overhead, a kinetic chandelier of metal and fabric animates the ceiling plane as it catches and reflects light.

Juhu’s proximity to the sea brings with it a languor that shapes how its cafe culture is experienced. The Bayleaf Cafe, tucked into a quieter stretch near the shoreline, leans into this coastal context. Just a short walk from the iconic Prithvi Theatre, the cafe draws from the area’s cultural rhythm. Tropical interiors and coastal textures steer the narrative, as Vipasna Designs draws on its surroundings—clay bricks, hand-finished grey IPS walls, and sandy hues that echo the natural tones of Juhu beach.

At the same time, a pebbled courtyard encourages a gentle pause before entering. Basalt and Kota stone floors, paired with patterned terrazzo and upcycled elements, lend a warmth that invites conversations to linger well after the plates are cleared.

The Jaipur Terrace, by Scapesmiths

Jaipur’s skyline has long shaped its social life, with domes, pavilions and rooftops serving as gathering spaces as much as architectural emblems. The Jaipur Terrace by Scapesmiths builds on this legacy. Located on M.I. Road, the 4,000-square-foot restaurant unfolds across three levels, each offering a distinct vantage point of the city. Planned within an existing structure, the journey moves from an enclosed dining area to an open mezzanine and finally to a rooftop dome that frames sweeping urban views.

A palette of blues, beiges and burgundies sits comfortably within the visual language, while textured surfaces and custom artworks draw from Rajasthani domes. Stone and metal finishes add a contemporary edge—ideal for long, unhurried date nights.
Baaroq approaches restaurant interior design with a distinctly sculptural sensibility. The lounge announces itself through an arched entrance clad in textured stone and antique gold, setting the tone for a richly layered interior. Inside, rammed-earth-inspired beige walls are offset by black Italian marble and patterned tile flooring, creating artisanal depth.
