March 14 – Brian Musau wins the national title in the 5,000 meters to help the Cowboys to their first top-five team finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships since 1965.

April 11 – Harrison Bodendorf earns a win at No. 20 Arizona with a 10-inning complete game in which he recorded 10 strikeouts.

April 13 – The Cowgirls beat Iowa State to secure a share of their second consecutive Big 12 regular season title.

May 17 – The Cowgirls set an NCAA tournament record by scoring 12 runs before a single out was recorded in the third inning of their win over Indiana at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional.

May 17 and 18 – Annie Molenhouse becomes the first Cowgirl to win the Big 12 Heptathlon title; Fouad Messaoudi becomes second man in conference history to win three 1,500 Meter titles.
