Jujutsu Kaisen features some of the strongest characters in anime, and some of its Sorcerers are so strong that they exist in a tier of their own. There are eight grades of Sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen, ranging from Grade 4 all the way to Special Grade, with a few Semi-Grades in between.
Special Grade Sorcerers are the strongest in the entire series, and they’re so much stronger than Grade 1 Sorcerers that they can hardly be compared. In total, there are five Special Grade Sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen, and a sixth who is occupying the body of a Special Grade Sorcerer, making him Special Grade as well.
Yuki Tsukumo

Yuki Tsukumo is one of the most interesting characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. She’s one of the few characters that is truly independent, choosing to avoid the traditional structure of Jujutsu society and instead explore the world on her own. She’s Aoi Todo’s mentor, and towards the end of the series, one of the most important Sorcerers around.
Yuki Tsukumo’s powers are almost as impressive as her ability to use them. Her Cursed Technique, Star Rage, allows her to grant virtual mass to herself and her shikigami, Garuda. It’s an incredibly powerful ability that allows Yuki to control destruction on an unbelievable level.
Kenjaku

Kenjaku isn’t technically a Special Grade Sorcerer on his own, but he’s currently inhabiting Suguru Geto’s body, a Special Grade Sorcerer in his own right. Because Kenjaku has access to Cursed Spirit Manipulation, one of the strongest Cursed Techniques in Jujutsu Kaisen, he should be considered Special Grade.
Kenjaku is also, arguably, the smartest character in the franchise. He’s over 1,000 years old, is the primary force behind almost all the catastrophes affecting the main cast of characters, and possesses one of the strongest villains in the series. He’s a master manipulator and he knows exactly what he needs to do in order to achieve his brutal goals.
Suguru Geto

Suguru Geto was once Satoru Gojo’s best friend and one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. He became disillusioned with Jujutsu Society and chose to turn his back on it. Not only did he walk away from the world he knew, but he began to tear it down, slaughtering hundreds of normal people as a means of “cleansing the world.”
Suguru Geto’s strength comes from his Cursed Spirit Manipulation ability, a Cursed Technique that allows him to capture Cursed Spirits. He’s able to hold several thousand at a time, using them with impunity. His Cursed Spirits range from relatively harmless to catastrophic threats, and if it wasn’t for Yuta Okkotsu, he would still be around today.
Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta Okkotsu is an incredibly versatile character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He’s the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the prequel to the main story. In it, he discovers the Jujutsu Society and finds out that he not only has an aptitude for using Cursed Techniques, but he’s also accompanied by his childhood friend Rika, who has turned into a powerful Cursed Spirit.
Yuta’s greatest strength comes from his innate ability, Copy. Copy can be used to copy other Sorcerer’s Cursed Techniques so long as part of their body is consumed by Rika. Yuta can use several powerful Techniques through Rika, giving him an adaptability that no other character in the franchise can compare to.
Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo has quickly become one of the most popular characters in anime. He’s charming, outrageously powerful, and impeccably confident. He’s also well and truly in a league of his own, even compared to other Special Grade Sorcerers. If he wasn’t so cocky, he might even be considered the single strongest character in the franchise.
Satoru Gojo is the pinnacle of the Gojo Clan. He’s the first Gojo in centuries to be born with both the Limitless and Six Eyes Techniques, two of the strongest techniques in the franchise. They’re already incredibly powerful on their own, but together, they make Gojo literally untouchable.
Ryōmen Sukuna

Ryōmen Sukuna is the single strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He’s brutal, intelligent, and everything else he needs to be one of the most vicious characters in anime. Sukuna has a ton of different abilities that put him in a tier of his own, and somehow, he doesn’t seem to have a single weakness.
Sukuna’s abilities revolve around quite literally cutting his opponents down. He is also able to transform himself into a Cursed Object, moving his soul into different hosts like Kenjaku. He’s an amazing antagonist in the series and one well worth Gojo’s attention.
