Remember when Iris Van Herpen was everywhere on the red carpet, to the point where it started to feel less special? Well, absence has definitely made the heart grow fonder. Seeing Chase in this Fall 2025 Haute Couture look reminded me why the label at its best is untouchable.
It must be noted that this isn’t a dress, it’s wearable art. The embroidery, laced with biomorphic patterns that echo wings and shells, moved beyond decoration and became something alive against her skin. It gave the impression of a second layer of being, almost like the gown was growing from her body rather than placed upon it.
But the real magic came from the skirt. That sculptural cascade of pleated organza, folded into petal-like layers, bloomed outward as if caught mid-transformation. It struck that rare harmony of architectural precision and natural ease. The soft palette of peach, blush, and ivory only amplified the poetry—complex, yes, but never overwhelming.
Iris Van Herpen has always blurred the line between science and fantasy, and Chase wore this vision with absolute grace. For me, it’s easily one of the most memorable Iris Van Herpen moments I’ve seen in years—ethereal, powerful, and beautifully alive.
