Britney Spears is demanding some respect from the men in her life.

On Monday, December 29, the pop star, 44, took to Instagram to share a black-and-white throwback photo of Brad Pitt from a Rolling Stone shoot, accompanied by a pointed caption.

“Try all day?? It’s called LIVING?? Just because I have more fire in my pinky than you guys do in your whole body doesn’t mean I deserve men talking s**t about me behind my back!!!” she wrote. “Men need to learn to RESPECT WOMEN!! 📸: @markseliger for @rollingstone.”

While it is unclear who the “Circus” hitmaker was referring to, her post comes about two months after her ex-husband Kevin Federline — with whom she shares Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19 — released his memoir You Thought You Knew, which included multiple claims about her.

Ahead of the book’s release date, a representative for Spears shared a statement with People, which read: “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir [The Woman in Me].”

Sam Asghari, who was married to Spears for 14 months before their divorce was finalized in May 2024, also recently spoke about their relationship during an interview with Playgirl, explaining: “I fall in love, and I try to make life happen.”

As Star previously reported, the Grammy Award winner has been on an Instagram posting spree the last few days, and decided to call out her family on Sunday, December 28.

“Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can’t fix,” Spears captioned a photo of a Christmas tree. “To my dear sweet innocent family … so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon … I can’t wait …. hello, beautiful Ivy … I just want to hold you, my love … Godspeed, friends.”

The singer spent Christmas with her youngest son Jayden, but Sean decided to join his aunt, Jamie Lynn Spears, and his grandmother, Lynn Spears, for the holidays in Louisiana, reportedly due to work commitments.
