The Gist

Gisele Bündchen is reportedly “the happiest she’s been in a long time” after marrying her “soulmate” Joaquim Valente.

The duo wed in an intimate ceremony at home on December 3.

They also welcomed a son this past February.

Gisele Bündchen is counting her blessings as 2025 comes to a close. Among them? Her newly minted husband Joaquim Valente and the couple’s 10-month-old son, whose middle name is “River.” Indeed, the supermodel is “the happiest she’s been in a long time,” according to a source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight.

“She is so in love and happy,” the insider added. “Gisele has said Joaquim is her soulmate and best friend. He has the man of her dreams plus a baby and feels like she has it all.”

In case you missed it, Bündchen and Valente wed in a quiet ceremony in Surfside, Florida on December 3. The couple welcomed their baby this past February after revealing they were expecting in October 2024. Bündchen, of course, also shares two other kids named Benjamin and Vivian with her ex-husband Tom Brady.

As for the surprise nuptials, Bündchen and Valente said “I do” in an intimate ceremony at home—and, according to sources, this “small, private non-event” was Bündchen’s dream wedding.

“Gisele is tired of all of the attention on her private life, but [she and Valente] are both so happy being together, and being new parents it was what they wanted to do,” a source told People at the time. “They are best friends with a lot in common and are so excited about everything.”

The insider continued, “Gisele is happy and in love, and getting married was in her plans—the timing just had to be right. She didn’t want anything over the top or made public so they could enjoy the day, each other and the family.”
