LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Jennifer Lopez returned to the Las Vegas Strip in grand fashion for New Year’s Eve.

The global icon launched her new residency, “Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas,” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Headlining concerts on Tuesday and Wednesday, Lopez took audiences on a journey from the Bronx to Broadway in a full-scale production that unfolded over four acts.

Fans were treated to many of her chart-topping hits, from “On the Floor” to “Jenny From the Block” to “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

Lopez also performed Broadway classics that influenced her multi-decade career, backed by a 17-piece band that included an all-female string section.

Live Nation says the show features high-energy choreography, show-stopping costumes and cutting-edge lighting, video and special effects.

Ja Rule made a surprise appearance on opening night, joining Lopez to perform their duets “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny.”

Two more shows are planned for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 2 and 3. Visit ticketmaster.com/JLoVegas to purchase tickets.
