Pink rang in the New Year by herself in a hospital bed, but the “Raise Your Glass” singer was still smiling as 2026 arrived.

While her family spent the holiday “happily snowboarding,” Pink donned a hospital gown and a bandage on her neck, posting a tribute to a year that “ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying.” She also revealed she had a major medical procedure, telling fans she was ending the year committed to “fixing her body.”

“It may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck. A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth,” the singer posted. “Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport.”

Celebs, fans share well wishes for Pink amid singer’s hospitalization

In her year-end post, Pink had a lengthy reflection for fans, hoping for a 2026 full of compassion, joy and taking care of one another.

“Let’s do better for ourselves and for others. Let’s not be afraid to take care of ourselves and others. I choose joy and I leave behind the hurt,” she wrote. “I’m going to choose positive thoughts over negative ones. And I’m going to rage against the dying of the light. I’m going to reclaim my wild. And I’m going to keep searching for the light, even as I experience the darkness.”

Pink’s post attracted well wishes and resonating comments from fellow entertainers like Kristin Chenoweth, Rosie O’Donnell and Juliette Lewis.

Singer Sheryl Crow, who was a special guest on Pink’s 2024 Summer Carnival stadium tour, commented that the singer inspired her: “I am going to print out the post and tape it to my fridge! I encourage everyone to!!”

Actor David Burtka also chimed in, sharing that he “had the same surgery,” which he referred to as the “best thing I ever did,” possibly referring to an intensive spinal fusion surgery he underwent in 2021.
