Barcelona Gallery Weekend returns from September 18-21 for the 11th edition of the art fair.
Organised by the ArtBarcelona Galeries association, Barcelona Gallery Weekend is the annual event that kicks off the city’s artistic season and puts the spotlight on the continuous work of smaller galleries as spaces that generate culture and knowledge, foster experimentation and discovery, and allow connection among artists, collectors, the public, and institutions.

Some 50 artists will be partaking and exhibiting work in the 11th edition of the Barcelona Gallery Weekend, with shows in 24 different galleries.
The majority, 22, of spaces are located in Barcelona, while two others are in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
New this year in the program is the FLASH section, comprising nine exhibitions which can only be visited between September 18-21.Â

All exhibitions will be free to visit and will be inaugurated simultaneously on September 18, from 12 pm for industry professionals, and from 6 pm for the general public.
During the weekend, most opening hours will be from 12-8 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday.

GalerĂa AlegrĂa and ethall will host exhibitions in the Santa EulĂ lia neighborhood of L’Hospitalet.
