Stockton, Calif. – The Oregon State men’s basketball team fell to Pacific 84-53 Friday evening in Stockton, Calif.
 
Johan Munch led the Beavers with 12 points and five rebounds on 5-for-10 shooting. Keziah Ekissi also finished with 12 points off the bench.
 
Josiah Lake II scored nine points in limited minutes, battling injury and foul trouble. Dez White and Isaiah Sy tallied eight points apiece. White also led the Beavers with six rebounds.
 
With the defeat, Oregon State moves to 8-8 on the season, 1-2 in WCC play.
 
The teams traded punches early on, with Pacific leading 13-8 at the game’s first media timeout. The Tigers were able to open up a 24-13 advantage mid-way through the first half.
 
Pacific went in front by as many as 15 in the opening frame. Oregon State got back within seven two minutes before the intermission, but the Tigers took a 49-34 lead into the break.
 
Pacific led by as many as 35  in the game, before taking the win by 31.
 
The Beavers will head to the Evergreen State on Sunday to take on Washington State in Spokane.
